  • NASA ADS - find that paper you are looking for.

  • Visibility plots - Check if that target you want is observable from your location.

  • Finding chart generator - Find that single, interesting object in the sky.

  • SIMBAD - All the info about your favourite object out there.

  • VALD - Get all the information about atomic transitions for spectroscopy.

  • NIST - Get all the additional atomic information, plus more.

  • Castelli-Kurucz grid - Get those 1D model atmospheres.

  • ATLAS12 - Go here for the GNU linux ported version of  the ATLAS12 code.

  • AstroPy - A large package of useful astronomy routines for Python.

  • StackOverflow - Get answers to your programming questions.

  • LearnPython - Great interactive Python tutorials.

  • DPaste - Useful tool for quick sharing/discussion of code snippets/programming.
